Good bye Nipsy

Nipsy went for his final ride to the vet surgery this morning.  He had become too dehydrated, was totally lacking in energy, and had given up.  It was when he didn't want his ferretone this morning that I knew he was dying, and I made a choice that I am sad about, but I do not regret.

Now he is out of pain, and can dook over the rainbow bridge to join the legion of ferrets that are waiting over there for ferrets like him.

Bye bye boy, I miss you.  Rest in peace and journey well.

That is so sad, It is the hardest decision you have to make when owning an animal.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.  It has been difficult, but Nipsy's in a better place now  :angel1: and we still have Chilo to look after  :fuzzyhug:
