What a guy!

I had been having dreams about ferrets for some time. I missed having them about and as the large cage we bought for the rats was to big, hubby said - get a ferret then.

I spotted an ad for two ferrets free to collector, a lovely picture of two chubby ferrets, but when I got there two skinny, smelly sickly ferrets met me. The tiny 3ft hutch was filthy, not a scrap of food, 1/4 of a bottle of vile green water and god knows when your bed was last washed. I knew there and then you were not staying there. Home we came, you slept all the way home, I thought you had passed a few times on the journey.

The look on your face when you saw your new home..

Thank god you just had enough strength left to start eating, although lying down..

I had to build a special cloth ramp to help you get about the cage, and make everything more easy for you as you just had no energy.

And boy did you sleep!!

anywhere...

and everywhere..

You learnt to love humans again, especially little boys that were so tasty..

and you could smile again..

Even in your sleep

It is horribly quiet without you shouting for attention..

DIP my beautiful boy, may you have hundreds of bath plugs to steal and stash at the bridge. xxx

That is so lovely, he was a gorgeous boy.  :fuzzyhug:

Sweet Dreams Milo, have a ball waiting at the bridge.  :angel1: :adore:
I ferret proofed my house... but they still keep getting in

Weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals.....  Except the weasel....(Homer J Simpson)

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines

Oh, see, impossible wishes, wishes that can never be granted, they produce a ferret. - Warehouse 13
