So we've taken Mouse for her final journey.
We got her from the RSPCA along with Sophie, with the idea that if they didn't get on with the resident boys they'd go back. Yeah right!
She was a regular dynamo. Always on the go, always climbing, always looking for the next adventure and where she could get to that wasn't allowed,
I did wonder if we'd been conned into a ferret/squirrel hybrid! She was a right busy body until about a year ago, when she started slowing down. Heart Failure was diagnosed in August this year. Meds helped a little, but towards the end unless we hand fed and watered her she would give food and drink a miss. She let us know it was time.

This was her first day at ours. A worried little ferret, unsure of what was what.

A tiny ferret with a huge personality, that gave me several piercings on my face :)

So we are now ferretless and heartbroken.

Ohhh, Michelle, so sorry... :fuzzyhug:

We have always found the Sandy Jills to be as you described, half ferret, half squirrel, and all trouble, but with a personality that far outweighs their size. We always seem to have one in our group, but have never been brave enough to try for two. :R

Looks like she had a great life with you, and now she can get up to lots of trouble at the bridge.

Sweet Dreams Mouse.. :angel1: :adore:
I ferret proofed my house... but they still keep getting in

Weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals.....  Except the weasel....(Homer J Simpson)

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines

Oh, see, impossible wishes, wishes that can never be granted, they produce a ferret. - Warehouse 13
