Harrietsham Ferret Show 30th Nov 2013
« on: October 22, 2013, 11:00:30 AM »
Harrietsham Ferret Rescue will be putting on an Autumn/Christmas Ferret Show on the 30th of November, in the Harrietsham Village Hall. (Harrison Drive, ME17 1AP) Plenty of parking, and the Train station is about half a mile away

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Station+Rd&daddr=Harrison+Drive,+Harrietsham+ME17+1AP&hl=en&ll=51.243368,0.677258&spn=0.005252,0.012327&sll=51.243341,0.677226&sspn=0.005252,0.012327&geocode=FbzuDQMd-UIKAA%3BFcbsDQMdImgKACnLgzrJaynfRzEQbO2wDYvTTg&oq=Harrison+Drive,+ME17+1AP&t=h&mra=ls&z=17

All the usual Ferret coloured classes, along with KFC putting on some fun classes during the day, which will include classes like, best "Autumn or Christmas" decorated cage, Ferret Sack racing, and Ferret most people would like to take home.

Shame it would be nice to meet you one day, you are one of the originals now, not many of us left... :war:

That does say 4.45 PM.... have you slept through your alarm, and the rest of the day, or forgotten you are on nights???

It is a deliberate plot to confuse me, formating the time to look like 24 hour clock then using 12 hour   :bite:

Did it go well?

I was hoping to make it, alas, my god-daughter's Christmas Fayre was the same day and I had committed myself to painting baubles to raise cash for school funds.
Next time... :)

I think it went very well.

Unfortunately, there were less people there than previous years, and few of the "regulars" seemed to be missing, but it was pretty full with lots of new faces, so all in all a good day. I think they made some funds for the rescue as well.

It would be great to see you there on another year, if they do it, I must admit I think Roy found the day quite hard this year, despite all the help.

Ah, that's a shame. Any event is hard work to organise, but if the turn out isn't brilliant then it can make it feel like a massive uphill.
All funds better than nothing though and I will make it to one in the new year, I am determined! :)
