Bye Bye Niffler

About 8.30 this morning Mark popped out to say hello to our older ferret group who were all out and about, Niffler took a piece of meat off him and took it in to the bedroom to stash it, a few minutes later Mark asked me to check Niff as he thought he looked odd, I went out and he was dead. I think he must have had a heart attack it was so sudden, no seizures or anything just a couple of gasps and he was gone. Dook in Peace Niffler, united with V, Wilbur and Ben to war dance over the rainbow bridge.

To be honest Clive I wish they could all go like that, much better thanwatching them getting worse and worse and not knowing when to let them go :(

Just tell him to watch out for Wesley - I hope Niffler doesn't pick up any bad habits from Wes...

I only wish they could all go Niffler, nice and quick no pain, no vet visits - it's just such a horrible shock to their mum and dad. I could tell that Wesley knew it was time for him to go to the Bridge, he was eating and drinking OK but was looking his age. 8 or 9 couldn't be sure how old he was. He aged over the past week.
