Blessed Be* My darling Roman
« on: February 08, 2012, 06:45:38 AM »
Roman passed over in his sleep last night after 9 long years of life.

He will be much missed here with his "speedway ferret " racing thought the house forgetting he had no brakes and sliding into the door with a dull thud and a suprised look on his face.

His fear of heights which meant he always closed his eyes before juping down from things.

His passion for melon and icecream which made him a menace at the MCC corporate event where melon was the starter and we had to walk between the tables to get to the course! That night he'd been renamed "Compo" for Dennis Compton's grandson! And on the way back fro the race (which he didn't win!~~~) all the ladies fell in love with him and he got a prize anyway - LOADS of MELON!

He was so laid back at shows even the smallest child was safe with him. My grandaughter considered him "her ferret" and on their visits out came the dolly pram and in went Roman!

We will miss you loads and loads my darling, you gave us love and laughs for 7 brilliant years.

Wait for me at the Bridge my beautiful boy!

What a gorgeous little guy he sounds. Lets hope there plenty of Melon at the bridge for him, sweet dreams Roman, you will be sorely missed down here. :angel1: :adore:
I ferret proofed my house... but they still keep getting in

Weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals.....  Except the weasel....(Homer J Simpson)

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines

Oh, see, impossible wishes, wishes that can never be granted, they produce a ferret. - Warehouse 13

So sorry to hear your news. He was one special little guy and we will all miss him at the events. Its sad that age comes to us all and he had a fantastic life with you and Bob. Dook on over the bridge Roman I'm sure there is plenty of melon and ice cream on the other side.

Love and Hugs to you all
