Sleep well Billy boy - 1 YEAR ON

Unfortunately I had to make to decision to have my albino boy Billy put to sleep last Thursday 2/6/11.  He had recently been unwell and I got a referral to Great Western at Swindon.  Without the help of Mandy (Furbies) this would not have been possible.  I owe a great debt to her and her husband Ro for the help given.  Unfortunately mega-oesophugus was diagnosed and the decision to let my boy sleep was made by me.

You shall be missed Billy.  I shall always carry you in my heart forever.  My heart breaks for you at this present time.  I hope Morgan was waiting to greet you at the bridge.

Just a little more info on my boy.  I adopted Billy from Hull & East Riding Ferret Rescue on the 9/6/08.  He only turned 4 / 5 this year so was only middle aged.  He loved all of his cage mates ie. Stitch, Angel, Sherman & Minx and they will all miss his antics.  He loved playing in his black bin bag and often got called 'Billy Bin Bag'.

Sleep peacefully Billy, it was a privilege to been a part of your life.   So sorry it did not turn out different, your Mummy loved you so much, fought for you so hard, and had to make a heartbreaking decision, but it was the right one and you are no longer in pain.  You were such a friendly, tough little man, even chasing Elli the Bengal in fun on your last day here!   Dook on over the bridge :kiss1:

Billy it is one year tomorrow that you went to Rainbow Bridge.  Not a day goes by when I do not speak your name.  I miss you so so much and am in tears as I type this.  I could not be with you when you passed and that still hurts me, although I know you were in safe secure hands.  You were brought home to me and have pride of place indoors.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow as I do each and every day xx
