  Michelle from Wolverhampton Ferret Boarding and Rescue will be doing a FUN FERRET SHOW AT ESSEX GAME FAIR, so if you are in the area go along and have some fun

BARLEYLANDS FARM, BARLEYLANDS ROAD, BILLERICAY. ESSEX. CM11 2UD

Time: Sunday, 22 May 2011 10:00

racing competition to start approx 10.30am

judging from approx 11.00am

Come along and enter your  ferrets into any of these classes

There is a Steam Fair called Strumpshaw Steam fair, in Strumpshaw.... Surprisingly...

We go every year, it's up Norwich direction, and is a great weekend. :Yippee:

:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: luckily there are no Rescue stands here, just a couple of Engine Drivers with very sooty fuzzies, and a lady who runs a stall, who takes her ferrets with her... It's actually quite funny, as hers nibble (bite) people they do not know, so, many of the people refer to our guys at the friendly ferrets, and her's as the evil ferrets. :laugh:

We went on Sunday  and had an absolutely fantastic time, it was one of the most friendly and welcoming events I have ever been too, a big thankyou to Michelle and the gang for making the day so enjoyable!:)
It was a real pity not more people brought their ferrets for the show but we got to meet the infamous crusher hoblet and his lady truffle, both of whom are truly gorgeous, I found it interesting too watching the judging, it was ring judged so we got a close up look of how the ferrets were examined and what the judges were looking at.
My little gang did really well and I was amazed and really proud to walk away with both best (cocopop)and reserve best(lily) in show, a big congratulations to all who were there and it was lovely to meet you all and your beautiful ferrets!:D
