Loss of a Ferret - unknown author

If you've ever known the welcome
Of a funny, fuzzy friend,
That brings a ray of sunshine
When the day draws to an end

If you've ever hugged a Ferret close
To share a tear or two,
Or maybe just a whiskered kiss
To lift you when you're blue

If you've ever felt the wrenching pain
That only death can send
Then losing a sweet Ferret
Is like losing a dear friend.

But God is good and treasures love
And there at Heaven's gate,
That funny face and joyful dance
Your precious Ferret waits.

Our fuzzies are like shooting stars,
Burning so very brightly for only a short time but shining so beautifully.
We all are truly blessed to have found them.

Clive those would be really sweet to pin in this forum. So they don't end up falling off later on, as I they do bring a little solice to our own emotions

i have a love/hate relationship with those kind of poems, i cant stop myself from reading them but it always makes me  :'(

I'd like to add my condolences to everyone whose ferrets have crossed the Bridge since I last came on the forum.
I know how we all miss them when they are gone.
