Tragically we had to have one of Fred's 7 week old babies put to sleep today
As he has grown he had developed a curvature of the spine, we took him to the vets this afternoon who told us that he has massive deformities within his spine, back legs front legs heart and lungs.unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for him, David was surprised that he has lived this long and our only option was to let him go.he thinks the problems were genetic, fortunately the others are doing well but goes to show how tragically wrong backyard breeding can go.
Sweet dreams little boy, I am honoured to have loved you albeit for too short a time, go find Rhett and run free at the bridge
