Nite nite our dear sweet, special boy
After recovering amazingly well from the surgery to remove his tumour, our poor little boy Loki became ill once more on Sunday. By Monday he was beginning to suffer the effects of another bleeding tumour, so we took the hardest decision to end his suffering. It's so heart breaking that he survived against the odds and was enjoing his life so much, despite losing his beloved brother 2 days after his surgery. Always together in life, fate had obviously decided that they should not be parted.
Loki was always such a dear, sweet and very special boy, I feel so blessed to have been his mummy. A sensitive soul, he found it very difficult to accept our baby girls at first, but when he realised they were not a threat to him, the fun started! How they all loved to play, running and wrestling for hours!
Loki's favourite things were walks, N-bones and Cheweasels, boxes, chasing balls, plastic sacks and treats. He loved his treats so much and loved to learn, so I taught him some tricks such as rolling over, he was such a clever boy. He loved to pop the inflated bags which come in packaging, getting very excited, he would pop them with his teeth or claws. He loved to pierce anything inflatable, after buying 2 inflatable pools for them we had to give up, the last one being poor inflatable Nemo!
On our walks he often loved to run ahead on the extending lead, I called him my little husky. I have found this so incredibly difficult to write, there are no words to adequetely describe how very much I love him and his brother, and no words to describe the pain of losing them. Our first ferrets, they came into our lives and changed it forever, bringing so much joy and happiness.
I hope you are having a blast at the bridge with Bailey and Maddie Never forget what mummy told you every night my darling boy, I love you to the moon and back, further than the stars, to infinity and beyond
