Had to take Perry for his final vet's visit on Saturday.
He was one of my first ferrets, along with Kev. We wanted a polecat and 'whatever came with'...
Perry was the 'whatever' :)
He used to be a little nippy, but predictable with it. Didn't stop a few colourful bruises appearing on arms and legs. He did get more control over his teeth as he got older.
He was a little git, and could open cupboards. He would give you 'follow me' signals when he wanted ferrety milk (lactofree), and would lead you to the fridge door.
He learned how to ding a bowl when he wanted extra food. He was an ace bud, and I'll miss him loads.
He was around 8 years old at a guess, We had the pleasure of his company from April 2008, and he was fully grown then.
He went blind and deaf in the last 6 months, had awful stomach problems, and we just knew it was time to let him go.
