Bristol Ferret Club are doing a fun ferret day here:

YOU ARE INVITED TO A FERRET FUN DAY On Sunday, 6th June 2010 @ 2pm-4pm

At Worlebury Woods, Weston-super-Mare

We are holding a fun ferret show so there will be NO standard colour classes but instead there will be several fun classes/competitions for the ferrets to do then a final voting class.  Details of the classes/competitions will be revealed on the day so no ferret will have an advantage of practicing any of the competitions beforehand. 

The idea is for the ferrets to have a fun day (and us too of course).

There will also be some ferret racing / child Vs ferret racing and ferret PR.

Please ensure you bring adequate carrier/cage for your ferret/s and food and water bottle/s.

There are refreshments on site and other stalls to have a look at too.  For those that came last year (it was held at Portishead last time) it was a lovely day out for all the family.

For those thinking of coming along the fun classes are:

FERRET FUN DAY

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

1. Prettiest face
2. Cuddliest Ferret
3. Best rescue
4. Cutest Couple (not pairs but just two of any colour)
5. Longest Tail
6. Public vote for ferret they would most like to take home
7. Surprise Class!

Plus some ferret racing and PR

There are certificates for the classes and we are really looking forward to a lovely day out with the ferrets

Can Suz and I enter class 4, and just me for class 5 and 6... :confused: :laugh: :laugh:

Shame it so far away, I much prefer this sort of ferret meet. Well done.

If anyone needs a postcode for Sunday I just got this from the organiser - the postcode for the house right next to the entrance to the woods in Worlebury Hill Road is BS22 9SG - so if you can get there, you just follow the road along into the woods and keep going until you reach the Water Tower.
